If n is positive and m is n percent of p, then, in terms of n, p is what percent of m?
A) 100n
B)\(\frac{1}{100n}\)
C)\(\frac{1}{n}\)
D)\(\frac{10}{n}\)
E)\(\frac{100}{n}\)
Hi,
Can you plz check the answer again, one of the option should be\(\frac{10,000}{n}\)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
m is n percent of p
i.e.\(m = \frac{n}{100} * p\)
or \(p = \frac{100m}{n}\)
Now question ask
p = what % of m (let it be x)
so we can re-write as p = x% of m (we need to find X)
or\(X = \frac{p}{m} *100\)
or \(X = \frac{100m}{m*n} *100\)
or \(X = \frac{10000}{n}\)
